Constrains for non-standard statistical models of particle creations by identified hadron multiplicity results at LHC energies

چکیده
We analyzed the identified hadron multiplicity predictions of the modified thermodynamical model of the multiparticle production processes with non-extensive statistic. The replacement of the standard Boltzmann exponential factor by the eventually much more slowly falling Tsallis one is suggested by the analysis of the transverse momentum distributions measured at high energies. The increase of high transverse momenta should accord with the abundance of heavy secondary particles, in particularmultistrange baryons. The introduction to the thermodynamical model of suppression factors similar to the ones in quark jet fragmentation models is discussed.

Recent results on event-by-event fluctuations in ALICE at the LHC
Non-statistical event-by-event fluctuations in relativistic heavy-ion collisions have been proposed as a probe of phase instabilities near the QCD phase transition. In a thermodynamical picture of the strongly interacting system formed in heavy-ion collisions, the fluctuations of the mean transverse momentum, mean multiplicity fluctuations, the balance function, higher moments of net-particle m...
متن کاملUsing the Balance Function to study the charge correlations of hadrons
We present the recent Balance Function (BF) results obtained by the NA49 collaboration for the pseudo-rapidity dependence of non-identified charged particle correlations for two SPS energies. Experimental results indicate a clear centrality dependence only in the mid-rapidity region. The results of an energy dependence study of the BF throughout the whole SPS energy range will also be discussed...
متن کاملReview of the Safety of LHC Collisions
The safety of collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) was studied in 2003 by the LHC Safety Study Group, who concluded that they presented no danger. Here we review their 2003 analysis in light of additional experimental results and theoretical understanding, which enable us to confirm, update and extend the conclusions of the LHC Safety Study Group. The LHC reproduces in the laboratory, ...
متن کاملGlauber Monte-Carlo predictions for LHC
In the framework of various Glauber-like models we compute several correlation observables in nuclear collisions at the SPS, RHIC, and LHC energies. We analyze fluctuations of the eccentricity of the fireball created in the collision, in particular the variable-axes harmonic moments ε∗, as well as the fluctuations of multiplicity of charged particles. We find moderate model dependence of the sc...
متن کاملTrends in multiparticle production and some “ pre - dictions ” for pp and PbPb collisions at LHC
Based on trends seen at lower energies we “predict” the multiplicities and pseudorapidity distributions of particle density and elliptic flow that will be seen in PbPb and pp collisions at the LHC. We argue that, if these predictions turn out to be correct, either these quantities are insensitive to the state of matter created in high energy heavy ion collisions or the observed simplicity and u...
